PhD STUDENTS
I am a third-year Ph.D. student enrolled in the Ph.D. Program "Sustainable development and cooperation", 37th cycle.
I graduated in Biotechnology and got my Master Degree in Medical and Pharmaceutical Biotechnologies at the University of Pavia.

My research focuses on the study of the mycobiota of the vineyard aimed at identifying the factors of the environmental matrix contributing to the definition of the microbial diversity in the vineyard and hence influencing the organoleptic characteristics of the final product.

I am eager of learning new things and approaches and looking forward to working at the bench, sampling in the vineyard, and practicing in wine cellars.

I am a second-year PhD student enrolled in the PhD Program in "Pharmaceutical and Biomolecular Sciences".

I graduated in the Master Degree Course in Cellular and Molecular Biology at the University of Turin.

My research focuses on the discovery and characterization of new antivirals.

I am eager of learning new things and techniques and combining various approaches, from working with cells, viruses, and drugs!
I am a second-year Ph.D. student enrolled in the Ph.D. Program "Sustainable development and cooperation", 38th cycle.

I graduated in Natural Sciences and got my Master in Plant Biotechnology at the University of Turin.

My research focuses on the study of the microbiota of the soil in urban environments, as part of the National Program "Biodiversity Urban Centers". In particular, my aim will be to quantify the spread and diversity of antimicriobial resistance in human-associated soils and to discover the factor majorly influencing them.

I can't wait starting to gather information on this interesting topic and collaborate with UniTO and National specialists on several aspects linked the natural and anthropogenic impact of my study.

I graduated first in Biology and then in Plant Biotechnology at the University of Turin.
My research focuses on the study of the yeast-insect association, particularly between Saccharomyces cerevisiae and social wasps, aiming to understand the environmental spread and evolution of this useful yeast.

I am looking forward to delve into this topic, also thanks to the international collaborations set up with the HFSP project "The aphrodisiac gut".
